We often hear people talk about the chakras as though they are abstract, mystical ideas, but your chakra system is deeply connected to your everyday life.

Your chakras are energy centers within the body that influence how you feel, process, express, connect, trust, love, and move through the world. When they are flowing well, you may feel more grounded, clear, open, and emotionally balanced. When they are blocked, depleted, overactive, or holding unprocessed energy, you may begin to notice it in very real ways.

It simply means that one or more parts of your energy system may be under strain, holding stagnant emotion, overcompensating, or needing support. Life experiences, stress, trauma, grief, fear, overstimulation, relationship patterns, and even spiritual growth can all affect the chakra system.

Sometimes one chakra is asking for healing. Sometimes the whole system needs grounding, rest, and recalibration.

The beautiful thing is this: once you begin listening, your body and spirit often start showing you the way back.


1. You Feel Anxious, Ungrounded, or Unsafe

This often points to imbalance in the Root Chakra.

The root chakra is connected to safety, stability, belonging, home, trust, and your relationship with the physical world. When this chakra is out of balance, life can feel shaky. You may feel anxious for no clear reason, constantly on edge, fearful about the future, disconnected from your body, or as though you are never fully settled.
